  • All About Our Cookies

Sweet Caroline's Horse Cookies are packed with minerals and 78 known elements. We developed the horse cookies because we wanted a convenient and fun way to supplement our horses. The cookies ensure that each horse receives the appropriate amount of essential, naturally-chelated trace elements and minerals everyday without waste.

Our mineral cookies now come in three different types. Besides the original soft heart shaped cookies, our new delicious, economical "Big Bit" cookies are now availabe. Also, our new "Little Bits" are perfect to supplement an existing feeding program or to promote recovery for horses with laminitis or founder. These are great for foals too, because the "Little Bits" are managable for small mouths.

Unfortunately too many minerals have long since vanished from the soil due to erosion or overfarming. To our good fortune, the proper formulation of all the essential trace minerals a horse requires was formulated by Mother Nature hundreds of thousands of years ago. These elements and minerals accumulated in a pristine freshwater lake that formed at the confluence of the Mojave and Great Basin Deserts.

The source of our minerals is now known as Panakite, from the montmorillonite family. Our colloidal minerals have additional special qualities including organic humates, not found in other deposits of mere montmorillonite. We believe that we are fortunate to have one of the best, edible mineral deposits in the world. This belief comes not only from lab tests and decades of studies, but from personal experience and the successful experiences of others.
